Moving a 4wheelerExt
Please tell me the perfect way to move a 4wheeler from one surface to another after done some animations. I created a 4wheelerExt and done some movements. Now i deleted all key frames and trying to do it in another surface in the same scene. I unparent the gravity mesh, delete its key frames and move it with the 4 wheeler. And parent it to the new surface. When i press the Record button, the vehicle is suddenly turn over and Maya Crashes.

I don't think you should remove all your keyframes, that could be bad. On record, the key frames ahead of the current keyframes are removed automatically.alexfrancisva wrote:Please tell me the perfect way to move a 4wheeler from one surface to another after done some animations. So, move the vehicle to it's new position. Press 's' for every part that already has a key frame to overwrite it with the new position. Then unparent the GravityDirectionMesh and move it under the vehicle in the new position and press 's' so that it too gets a new position key frame. Then you should be able to press record.
