Hi there,
I am animate a large series of cars, using a rather simple a-to-b path animation. So this is really nothing fancy. Most cars work, but all in a while certain models totaly fail. in this case the car is either flipping shortly after the beginning of the simulation and then moves around somewhere in space, or it gets completely pulled apart, as if the model sticks on the ground and is then pulled from the target locator. See the attached two screenshots describing the second case.
Rigged are only the car body and the wheels, no details
The same configuration is used for each car.
I attach an example Maya scene and the settings. I cannot include the original geometry, but I guess what's of interest is the accordingly scaled rig.
...hm, looks like there is no way to attach files here. Where can I do so?
