Hey guys, i can get craft to work with my keyboard, and the only controller i have right now is a ps3 controller... I did some research and i downloaded the trail version of Game Pad Companion for Mac. I can get the controller to work with GPC as a mouse....But when I go into craft and open the input window how do i set up the ps3 controller?
Everything ive been doing doesn't seem to work... sorry for the newbee question, im sure i just am not clicking on the right button. Thanks!

Re: Ps3 controller for maya 2010 craft studio 10.1.2
Hi Getsome,
First you need to do is to check if the gamepad is compatible. For Windows, the gamepad needs to be DirectInput-compatible in order to work in CDS. However on MAC it's a bit more vague. Your gamepad needs to be supported by SDL to function with CDS, but there is no way of telling if it is.
To check if you have support for your gamepad, please enter the input dialog for any tool and choose one input parameter. Open the leftmost combo box and check which elements are available. If you see a device either named something similar to "PS3" or "SDL joystick", then you have support and should be able to bind the joystick as you do with the keyboard. Otherwise i'm afraid there is not much we can do at the moment.
