Is it possible to use the Xbox controller in Craft Tools. If so, how do you get Craft to recognize it?
thanks!

Are you having problems auto detecting the xbox controller? We've tried Craft Director Tools with a wired xbox 360 controller so I know it should work.

Are you sure you checked "Joystick device" during the installation process? Please download the latest version of Craft Director Tools and run the installation again (no need to uninstall anything, just remember that 3ds MAX/Maya can't be running during the installation) and make sure you check "Joystick device". Then start 3ds MAX/Maya and try auto detecting again.

I was wondering what drivers you have for the XBOX controller. I can't get it to work in windows XP. (Not a 360 controller) Windows recognizes the controller and I can configure the buttons etc in the control panel, however I cannot get Max (9) to recognize it when i go to control a vehicle.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thx!

Cdunwald, are you sure you checked "Joystick device", as mentioned above, during the installation process? We did not use any special drivers when we tried the xbox360-controller, just plugged it in and started 3ds MAX/Maya.
