Autonomous

Post by masterfx » Mon Mar 16, 2009 10:18 pm

I am trying to make a car follow CV spine that starts at 100% velocity. The rig follows the spline just fine but it falls behind initially so my pre-built scene is off.
So I am stumped on how to make the car follow the target mesh at the same speed throughout the 150 frames. Again I am using the Autonomous mode and at this
point I cant get any settings correct.

Thanks

Hello Masterfx and welcome to our forum.

If you enter the configuration window for Craft 4-Wheeler Extended and increase the value for "Gas Pedal (Forw/Backw) Maximum", you will increase the maximum speed of the vehicle. This will make it easier for the vehicle to keep up with the target.

Hi again. Dear Sir how can we decrease the speed of Target Mesh instead of increasing the velocity of car? Because if we increase the speed of car as much as target mesh speed, the view comes to be unreal!
best regards,
Nariman

I just did a quick forum search for "car animation" and I came across this thread. Especially for two years ago, this animation is outstanding. Way to take advantage of your resources and make a compelling project.
