Hi,
We just bought the Craft Animation complete suite and were looking to purchase a steering wheel input device for it. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I realize it needs to be directx compatible. I've looked at Logitech and Thustmaster. But I haven't had much luck in finding one that calls directx compatibility out in it's specs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Re: Which steering wheel should I use?
My personal favorite is actually just an ordinary gamepad with analog sticks. Just don't use it as a digital gamepad and smash the sticks all the way to the left or right once you need to turn, the gamepad can give you a very good level of detail in your steering.
Otherwise any steering wheel should do fine. We have had some problems with pedals on some steering wheels where they tend to cancel each other out. So if you hit both the brake and the gas pedal simultaneously the car will simply just not move. It's just a minor issue though and should not affect your choice of steering wheel.
