hey can any 1 help me.
i have made a small animation of a car in max using craft dircetor tool. i would like to export that rigged car to VUE software. i m trying this by Collada exporter but its not happening.
is there any other way to export the cars which are rigged and animated. ???

There should be no problem exporting the animated meshes to Vue. Just do as you would normally do. Only thing you need to remember is to include the dummy objects in the export. It's the dummy objects which contains the animation, not the high-poly objects. Therefore, if you only export the high-poly objects you will not include the animation. Either include the dummy objects in the export, or move the animation to the highpoly object before exporting.

hey thanks man... i just want to know.. do i need to bake the animation when i m exporting in .DAE format.

We do not have Vue to test how to make this export. It all depends on the program that will open the exported file. 1. Test to export without doing any changes to the scene.
2. Test to use unplug in CDS and export the scene.
3. Test to bake the animation and export the scene.
