observer cam + logitech

Post by wellander » Fri Nov 13, 2009 2:17 pm

Currently running Max 2009 32 bit on a XP system
Logitech gamepad tested and functional.

I have set up a observer cam. I have set all the "input" using autodetect and all is detected. But for some reason it won't recognize the Roll Speed (Right/Left): Logitech RumblePad 2 USB: Z-axeln.
I tested the device with a Sphere Cam and it works as perfectly fine.

Thing is The cam wont recognize any mapping to the Roll Speed (Right/Left)

I have now cleared all and only mapped Roll Speed (Right/Left) and no matter how I map it "no go"

So to me the game pad is ok but the ObserverCam Roll Speed (Right/Left) is assignable but disabled.

What do I do now?

Hi Carl,

I'm pretty sure I know the reason for this and you're going to be pissed when you find out but here goes: In the configuration for Craft ObserverCam there is a check box called "Allow roll". Check it and you should be good to go, hehe.

Yes well now I can't tell cos I installed the latest update. And I can't seem to activate the product.
I paste my serial into the Activate text area but I cant submit. Nothing happens. Am I totally out of luck? Or is my serial "no go" for this version?
If so then I'll have to revert back to the old one. (hope I have it somewhere)

Send an e-mail to [email protected] if you need help activating the license or need more information about upgrading to the latest version. If you need to download Craft Director Tools (the "old" version), you can do so here: http://www.craftanimations.com/tasks/si ... _Tools.exe

Thanks
I tested the cam in test mode and it works as it should. I'll revert back for now until I get a reply from support.

Cheers and have a great weekend.

one thing that struck me. Why do you hava a filter for new posts? I mean that totally ruins the benefits of users helping each other? Now we are left to the mercy that you let us thru. It also makes the communication indirect and not instant. And that lag time may lead to that people use other channels to get answers. Just a thought. oh and remove that "save" option below. How many people saves a message that they mean to post?

-Cheers!

Wellander,

We've had big problems with spammers and this was the only method that worked 100%. The filter works like this: if the user's post count is <1 then the post has to be authorized, so as soon as you get one post accepted you shouldn't be bothered with the filter any longer.
As for faster responses, I would recommend e-mailing or calling us instead. Thank you for the feedback though, we always appreciate it!
