Accurate interaction

Post by raptor » Mon Jun 30, 2008 2:41 pm

hi every body...
how can you make an accurate interaction between a tire and an obstacle using craft 4wheelrEXT or if there is another tool?
here is both cases the accurate and the none....

1- not accurate interaction created with craft 4wheelrEXT...

tire with black color and the obstacle is the white grid

2- accurate interaction made by hand only to make my idea clear...

tire with white color for first and last position tire with gray color for movement steps and the orange grid is the obstacle

thanks.

Hello Raptor and welcome to the forum. On of the features that makes Craft 4-Wheeler Extended unique from the regular Craft 4-Wheeler is the feature called "Ray Multiplier". After you're done with your animation you can increase this value for higher accuracy (but longer computational times, that's why it's good to use Resimulate) and then press Resimulate to have the animation re-created with high accuracy.
