The car doesn't ride on the surface, starts from the Grid & moves along the grid path . I have parent constrained the surface to gravity tool & have followed accurately as told in tutorials nevertheless, pressing record the craft car & the model comes on to the grid.
I am not able to animate the car on my respective surface.
> I am using Maya 2008, tried in Maya 2009 also same problem
> Surface is a Polygon
> I am using the latest updated craft plug-in.
Any Suggestions ............... pl......ease.

Hello MRaaJ3D,
My guess would be that you've used a Parent
Constraint instead of a regular parenting. Here's one way of doing this:
First select _GravityDirectionMesh (the red arrow) then hold down the Shift-key and click on the ground object to add it to your selection.
Now either through the menus, select Edit -> Parent, or use the keyboard shortcut:
p .
Hopefully this is what went wrong and solves the problem.
