Re: Vehicle Penetration = Ground and Wheel Wells
how much detail do you need to see in order to figure out the problem? Here is a top view 200 frames and very simple. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8Pulf8doQc The path however is very large. Does the length or size of path make a difference? I can render out or provide a better preview and / or im...

Re: Vehicle Penetration = Ground and Wheel Wells
Thank you very very much Patrick... that helped tremendously and I can drive it with controlling my roll and yaw of the vehicle. I got another issue with the autonomous mode when following a spline. I made a spline and converted it to a nurbs cv curve. Then used path constraint to attach 4WheelerExt...

Re: Vehicle Penetration = Ground and Wheel Wells
I realize that I didn't mention that this is a lowered truck. It is only 2-3 inches off the ground. So I lowered the 4 wheeler ext to the same body heights and then raised the wheels to match the 56 ford truck.

Vehicle Penetration = Ground and Wheel Wells
Hello, So I used the general 4-wheeler ext setup for a lowered 56 ford truck. The basics are working very good but I am getting pretty severe penetrations on the ground plane and around the wheel well areas. I setup the 4-wheeler vehicle to have the same body distance as my 'lowered" vehicle. Howeve...

Re: Useful Scripts for SpeedAnimation: 3ds MAX

My tread is being created but it's not going straight and it's all over the place. I mean literally it follows it's parent, but the tread its...

Re: 4Wheeler EXT max
Thanks for your help. However, I fixed the issue by applying the Load Configuration profile. For some reason it may have had some really weird settings there.

4Wheeler EXT max
I have created a 4wheeler EXT in max. I am using a high res car for my model. Everytime i hit the record button, the car just goes crazy and won't go forward won't do anything but flip around and then hangs up the recording and crashes. I followed the video online and can't seem to understand why it...

Single WHEEL
I want to create a single wheel and put a controller on it to control it like a car. Is this possible? Can i start with a 2-wheeler or a single wheel gear or something? I tried using the extra wheel controller and couldn't get it to work. This is like a cartoon style where a wheel is the only thing ...
